When we hide something, we try to keep it where nobody can see. When we hoard something, we keep it to ourselves so we can enjoy it and try to collect and keep as much of it as we can all the while refusing to share it with anyone else. If you are hiding and hoarding the Lord Jesus Christ and your faith in and relationship with Him, please quit right now!
We who believe in and follow Jesus have a responsibility to tell the world about Him and to help people to find and follow Him.
But some people are too scared, ashamed, prideful, selfish, self-consumed, lazy, and/or busy with their priorities out of order to fulfill this responsibility and are hiding and hoarding Jesus instead.
If it is hard to hear this message, I understand. For a long time until the Lord woke me up and showed me the truth, I was the same way. No more! Now, by His grace alone and thanks to an extremely close, personal, intimate, ever-growing relationship I have with Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior, Father, master, healer, redeemer, teacher, advocate, counselor, helper, comforter, and best friend, I have a passion beyond measure to love and worship and serve and obey Him and to help others do the same.
I hope with all my heart the Lord will use this message to give you your own exceeding passion and fervor and devotion to the Lord and for telling the world about Him! There is honestly nobody and nothing more lovely, loving, beautiful, wonderful, marvelous, fulfilling, and joyful in the universe than the Lord and a forever relationship with Him and the humbling privilege and blessing of helping people near and far to believe in and forever faithfully follow the Lord!
If you have committed your life to Christ, ask for and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit so God pours into you and fills you to the brim with the fullness of His Spirit, love, power, courage, and boldness to help people give their lives to Christ and to lovingly follow Him and to tell still others! Father, revive your followers! Wake them up! All of us who are asleep! All of us who are lukewarm! All of us who are walking around acting like we’re dead! Help your followers not to hide and hoard you. Give us a fervor to love and serve and worship you now and forever with fiery passion and a zeal and commitment beyond measure to proclaim you to the world, oh my blessed Lord! Thank you Lord, thank you for hearing my heart’s cry in this and for answering! AMEN!
