I Don’t Care Anymore!

One of the most powerful real life lessons I have learned regarding telling the world about Jesus comes from an on-fire-for-the-Lord, hold-nothing-back-in-preaching pastor I greatly respect who regularly says when preaching, “I don’t care anymore!”

What does he mean? He has stopped caring that people will hate, reject, despise, abandon, gossip about, write awful things about, ridicule, and persecute him and walk out of the church building when he is preaching in response to his PREACHING THE WHOLE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE.

He holds nothing back from his preaching but instead preaches whatever God almighty leads him to preach no matter how much our modern day culture goes against what he preaches from the Bible.

He is an inspiration to me even as I press on speaking and writing about the Lord Jesus Christ and the Bible no matter how people respond to me.

Sure it hurts when people even my friends judge and condemn and push me away or hold me at a distance for being totally devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ and speaking and writing about and living according to the whole TRUTH OF THE BIBLE.

When our lives on this earth are over, the pastor and I and all of us will have to give an account of our lives. Let it never be said of us that we went against Jesus and the Bible so we could please ourselves and get people to love and accept us.

Jesus #1. ALWAYS! Forever and ever, AMEN!

“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” 2 Timothy 4:2-4 NKJV

“”Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12 NKJV
