I Ran Out of Luck!

I would be blown away by how many people say things like, “Good luck!” and “I was lucky” and “I ran out of luck” except for the fact I once fell for this myself. This business of believing in luck and being lucky and wishing other people luck and such. The Lord has since corrected me. Now that I know God is Creator, all powerful, all knowing, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, almighty God, Father in heaven, etc., I don’t mess around with using the word, LUCK.

I try to use every opportunity God gives me not to tell people that I am lucky. But to tell people about the Lord Jesus Christ. To give God EVERY SINGLE OUNCE OF GLORY He is due. My life is not filled with luck. My life is filled with the unfathomable love and matchless grace and immeasurable mercy and indescribably wonderful goodness and over-the-top greatness and magnificent majesty and stupendously stunning splendor of God almighty in Christ.

I encourage all whose eyes fall upon this message to reconsider using the words LUCK and LUCKY. Let us give the Lord the glory due His name. He is worthy of ALL praise, honor, and glory forevermore, AMEN!

“Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.Revelation 7:12 KJV

p.s. And instead of telling people, “Good luck,” let us speak words that point people to the Lord!
