If there is one thing my mother could never forget about my youth, it is how often I proclaimed to her and the family and the world, “I’m so in love!” My Mom may have enjoyed how thrillingly ecstatically over-the-top happy I was to make my big announcements that I was “so in love” with yet another young man, but my beloved Mom had to deal with the unbelievably exceedingly terribly awful crashes and falls and downheartedness and depression I experienced when my “so in love” feelings were not met with love in return. Oh, the drama! I’m passionate, sensitive, and fervent by nature, so imagine what I felt and what my Mom had to contend with given my roller-coaster years of falling in and out of “love” with one young man after another. Decades later, I couldn’t be more delighted, blessed, thrilled, and excited to tell you and all the world, “I’m so in love!”
And so it is I am madly and passionately, exceedingly, wonderfully, everlastingly, ever-growing-inly in love with the Lord God almighty. And every ounce of love I have for Him is returned immeasurably whereby I experience more and more of His love and want to express to Him more and more my ever-increasing love for Him. God’s love is so amazing, so astonishing, so wonderful, so brilliant, so awesome, so magnificent, so phenomenal, so beautiful, so precious, so perfect, so rich, so endless, so unfailing, etc., that we can rest assured for those of us who have entered into a forever relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ that we have access to and the ability to experience and enjoy and rejoice in God’s unbelievable and astonishing and fantastic and life-giving and life-changing oh-so powerful love 24-7 – forevermore!
Do you know and experience the love of God for yourself? Oh, may it be so! Be “so in love” with the Lord, friend! Enjoy His love now and forevermore! It all begins with turning from our sins, believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and in His death and resurrection, committing our lives to God and His ways, and receiving His forgiveness, forever life with Him, and the indwelling of His Holy Spirit! This is the beginning of a forever love relationship with God! As we follow Jesus day by day, as we learn to live according to God’s ways indwelt and led by His Holy Spirit, as we learn to live utterly for Him, oh, how this engaging, enveloping, endearing, enjoyable, enriching love grows and grows – and grows! Hallelujah, glory be to the Lord for HIS LOVE!
Oh, Father, if I could go back in time and have become your follower all the way back decades ago, and known your love then, and trusted in you and followed you all the way back in that time, oh God, I believe everything would have been so different. But alas, I put my hope and trust and expectations in human love which is never perfect. Lord, thank you for drawing me to yourself, saving me, bringing me into your forever fellowship, teaching me of your love, loving me like you do, teaching me how to love you the way you desire to be loved including with obedience, and now using me to tell others of your amazingly awesomely wonderful LOVE, oh Lord, AMEN! Please, God, use this message to draw many more people to yourself, save them, redeem them, rescue them, love them, oh love them, yes love them, and teach them your ways, cause them to humbly and lovingly follow you forever, and use them as you’re now using me to tell others of you and your great, great, great most wonderful love, oh Lord, AMEN!
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39 KJV
