Inspired by How a Friend Prayed

When I asked three dear sisters in the Lord to pray about a possible beautiful blessing in my life and ministry, one responded this way:

“Praying and trusting God for the rest; all for His honor and glory. Amen,” she wrote me.

Interestingly, I could not tell if she meant to write “rest” or if she accidentally wrote “rest” instead of “best.” But both words were a perfect fit, and herein is how her prayer inspired me and now hopefully you.

God wants us to pray and to go forth resting and trusting in Him believing that His will is perfect and best and desiring that He be honored and glorified in the answer to our prayers!

Very inspiring! When we cry out to God in prayer, let us desire HIS WILL for HIS HONOR AND GLORY. And let us TRUST and REST in Him as we go forth!

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” 1 John 5:14-15 NKJV

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV
