Invisible Faith

Can people see your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? IF you believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, and live your life accordingly, people whether family, friends, co-workers, classmates, teammates, strangers, business owners, customer service reps on the phone, sales people, babysitters, coaches, teachers, waitresses, contractors, jell cellmates, homeless shelter dorm-mates, etc., should be able to see and hear your faith in your words and actions.

I have heard people essentially say it is enough for people to see the love of Christ in us through our actions, but this is insufficient. The Lord makes clear in the Bible we must not be ashamed of Jesus nor deny Jesus in front of others, and that we are to praise Him, proclaim Him, speak of Him, tell of His “wonderful works”, give testimony of what He has done in our lives, help lead people to Him, and teach people His ways according to the Bible. And, yes, we should show people in our actions the love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, comfort, compassion, care, kindness, goodness, patience, generosity, humility, etc. of Jesus the Christ!

Do both, friend! Show and tell! May others continually see Jesus in and through those of us who follow Him and hear of Him through the words and praise that comes forth from our mouths!

Lord, fill those of us who call you Lord with your Holy Spirit and lead us by your Holy Spirit that our hearts, mouths, and actions would be used by you CONTINUALLY to point people to you and to help people to find and follow you! When we fall short in this, please Father, bring conviction! When we use our mouths and actions for things that do not bring glory to you, please bring correction quickly, dear Lord. Lead us to repentance as often as we need it. Teach us your ways, dear God! Oh, Lord, THANK YOU! AMEN!
