I can’t get giving off my mind. Maybe it’s because it’s one of the greatest blessings in my life. Maybe it’s because my heart hurts when I see people who don’t know the joy of giving. Maybe it’s because I wouldn’t be alive and breathing today if God hadn’t given His Son Jesus to die and live again so I could have eternal life through faith in Him. Maybe it’s because God has given me so many human angels through the years that I have been the recipient of giving beyond measure. No matter why I can’t get giving off my mind, I want to give this to you. If you are not giving on a regular basis, you are missing God’s best. And if you are not giving on a regular basis, you are missing blessings beyond description. Giving is not just about obeying God in His call for us to serve. It is also about all the phenomenal joy we receive from God as we allow His love and mercy to flow through us.
