In all honesty, to borrow an expression my beloved Mom often uses, I cannot fathom that April 1 will mark two years of being out on the road for Jesus. Two years of streets ministry and writing and publishing Gospel tracts, devotionals, and books with a little crew of special needs and senior rescued dogs in tow!
Never in a million years would I have imagined God would take a woman who grew up in a Jewish family that didn’t believe in God who neglected her childhood dog and ended up an atheist so broken there was no human hope for me and turn her into a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ so sold out for Him and for telling the world about Him that I can’t imagine having any other life than the one I have today.
In the past two years, I have stayed mostly in hotels and one short-term apartment in Virginia outside Washington, DC, New Jersey, New York City, South Carolina, North Carolina, South Carolina again, the Florida Panhandle where I currently am, and am headed for the Appalachian region of Virginia, then the Appalachian region of West Virginia, then the Capitol Hill area, Washington, DC. And the Lord has already placed in my heart several other areas for the future.
A zillion years wouldn’t be enough to share with you the countless amazing opportunities I have had to minister to tons and tons of people on the streets, in parking lots, on the beach, in stores, in hotels, in parks, on the phone, on the Internet around the world, and through an unbelievable amount of Gospel tracts and devotionals online and in print distributed in prisons, homeless shelters, on the streets, and through people around the United States.
On top of that, the Lord is growing, growing, growing the ministry and reaching more and more people FOR HIS GLORY. He has blessed me with ministering to the rich, poor, homeless, hurting, hopeless, disabled, blind, deaf, dying, suicidal, locals, foreigners, tourists, young people, old people, atheists, agnostics, Hindus, Muslims, Jewish people, New Age people, mean people, criminals, ex-prisoners, kind people, Christians, backsliding Christians, addicts, alcoholics, and on and on and on.
I have just begun writing my latest book which I am publishing online as I write, am publishing three devotional magazines for the general public, homeless people, and prisoners, am continuing my Daily Inspiration online, am continuing a Gospel tract series I started, and recently was led by the Lord to purchase new domain names with plans for several new websites to include a very exciting project for the future to be announced at a later date, have received from the Lord plans for two future book projects, and in the midst of it all am continuing to care for my sweet five special needs doggies who are a significant part of my streets ministry work and my beloved traveling companions.
Did I leave anything out? Very possibly. It’s hard to keep up with the Lord…! Rest assured THE ONLY WAY I can do all He has given me is to do it step by step in His love and strength FOR HIS GLORY ALONE!
As you can imagine, my life is ENTIRELY HIS. I have surrendered all to Him and am willing to forsake everything for Him. Yes, now that He took the anorexia from me and I’m on the end of the spectrum now eating up a storm, I do have a huge love for chocolate and cookies and frozen dessert. But He knows if He wants me to forsake that also, it will have to go. Because I love nothing and nobody in the world like I love the Lord God almighty in Christ.
My friend reading this, will you help me celebrate my 2-year anniversary on the road for Jesus? It would be the perfect opportunity right now to ask for big donations and lots of new monthly sponsors which I could absolutely use and which would be a blessing literally beyond measure, but I do not feel compelled to ask for anything other than this.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ME. PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS MINISTRY. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY DOGS. PLEASE PRAY FOR EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING AROUND THE WORLD GOD IS REACHING THROUGH MY WORDS WRITTEN AND SPOKEN. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY HEALTH AND SAFETY AND STRENGTH AND FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THE DOGS TOO AND FOR ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING THE LORD PLACES ON YOUR HEART.
LOVE, PRAYERS, ENCOURAGEMENT, AND ANYTHING AT ANYTIME THE LORD PLACES ON PEOPLE’S HEARTS TO GIVE ARE APPRECIATED BEYOND MEASURE.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS. THEY MEAN MORE TO ME THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE. AS OFTEN AND AS MUCH AS ANY OF YOU ARE LED TO PRAY, I AM THANKFUL, SO VERY THANKFUL.
LOVE & BLESSINGS IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!
