Everything in this world will one day come to an end, and the world itself will come to its demise. But the Lord shall live and reign forever, and all who turn from our sins, believe in Him as Lord, and truly live for Him according to His ways, are forgiven and given forever life. The greatest blessing, however, isn’t everlasting life. It’s that this everlasting life is IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY – FOREVER! It’s about spending FOREVER WITH GOD ALMIGHTY! The psalmist in this verse cries out to the Lord because he hungers and yearns and thirsts for Him! Do you hunger and thirst and long for more of Jesus? Oh, once you believe in Him, once you devote yourself to Him, once you live for Him, once you read His Word more and more and spend more and more time alone with Him praying and seeking and hearing Him, oh how you will be satisfied – and then increase in hunger for more of the Lord! And the Lord in His magnificence and sovereignty and amazing awesomeness never comes to an end! There is ever more of Jesus to crave, ever more of His presence to cry out for, ever more of His fellowship to enjoy, ever more of the Lord, oh yes! Cry out for more of the Lord, oh yes!
