Blessing #112
“But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.” John 17:13
Sometimes life feels anything but joyful, but even in times my life’s circumstances have been such I could have cried on and on forever it seemed, I came to a point I was able to find joy right deep down deep inside me. The joy of Jesus. His joy. The joy of being loved by Him, of loving Him, of being promised forever with Him through faith in Him and a life devoted to Him, of knowing and following Him, of His nearness, fellowship, Lordship, and friendship, of His Word and personal words by His Spirit to my heart, and on and on. The joy of Jesus is not contingent on life’s circumstances, but is based on Christ Himself! The joy of Jesus is a blessing to be enjoyed and treasured – forever! Oh, the fullness of the Lord Jesus Christ’s joy! Thank you, Lord! For your joy! For giving us joy! Thank you, Lord, most joyfully, most preciously, for you! The greatest joy of all, oh Lord, is you! Praise you, Lord!
