My 7-Year Miraculous Anniversary

Today by God’s grace alone marks 7 years since I set out on the road full-time with my special needs and senior rescued ministry dogs for the Lord Jesus Christ and ministry.

God led me to sell my little house in coastal South Carolina, give most everything away, adopt out some more dogs, and pack up 6 dogs, all their stuff, 2 dog wheelchairs, most of my life’s belongings, and my ministry equipment in an old Honda Element.

It has been a stunningly amazing 7 years filled with Jesus, ministry, excitement, adventure, danger, safety issues, burn out, recharging, drawing ever closer to the Lord, growing in my relationship with Him, writing books, writing my Good News Daily Devotional, caring for the dogs (4 of whom I so sadly lost along the way), being assaulted, having really bad Covid for months, going up and down the east coast, and doing tons and tons of streets, hotel, and beach ministry.

An unfathomable number of lives locally, nationally, and internationally have been reached by God through my heart, life, ministry, as well as the dogs whom God has used countless times to introduce me to people to share the Gospel with, give Gospel tracts to, pray for, and minister to. ALL absolutely ALL the glory to the Lord!

I would not trade these years for anything in the world, and yet I will also tell you it has been indescribably challenging in so many ways and has taken a great toll on me.

God has taught me to be a totally devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and to forsake anything He desires me to let go to live utterly for Jesus and to fulfill my life calling.

My calling is to help people to be totally devoted Jesus followers and to experience and enjoy a forever intimate relationship with God.

All this time on the road coupled with a very challenging life personally combined with the state of this world right now has left me incredibly exhausted and over and again having to fight endless spiritual battles to press on.

But praise the Lord God almighty He gives me all I need to live in obedience to Him.

Besides being ever thankful for all those who pray for me, the ministry, and paralyzed ministry dog Miss Mercy and special needs ministry dog Gracie, I am in very great need of more people to step forward and donate to the ministry and/or to become ongoing sponsors of the ministry.

Some Bible verses that have helped me enormously in my life on the road for Jesus.

“and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:15 NKJV

“Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23 NKJV

“But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:7-14 NKJV
