Ever not felt loved? Not feeling loved now? Friend, you might not believe how much of my life I have not felt loved. Some people face a little rejection in life. Some face a moderate amount. Some experience so much rejection so much of the time they hardly know what it’s like to not feel the hurt and sting and endure the wounds of rejection. I have faced tons of rejection in my life and still face it on an ongoing basis. Not feeling loved hurts a whole awful lot, doesn’t it? Sometimes it even feels unbearable. But I am thrilled to share with you there is a way out of all I have experienced that is astonishingly and wonderfully and refreshingly and joyfully AMAZING!
Here is what I have discovered in three simple steps:
- Turn from your sins, believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and in His death and resurrection, turn to God and His ways, receive God’s forgiveness, enter into a forever relationship with Him, and ask for and receive the indwelling of His Holy Spirit!
- When you feel unloved, hurt, rejected, neglected, ignored, abandoned, overlooked, not cared about, etc., ASK GOD TO FORGIVE YOU IF YOU HAVE DONE ANYTHING WRONG, ASK OTHERS TO FORGIVE YOU IF YOU HAVE DONE ANYTHING WRONG, EMPTY YOUR HEART OF THE SINS OF SELF-PITY, BITTERNESS, RESENTMENT, ANGER, ETC., LOVE & FORGIVE THE PEOPLE NOT LOVING YOU THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE LOVED, and FOCUS ON GOD AND THE BIBLE AND HIS WAYS AND HIS WILL FOR YOUR LIFE.
- Spend time in God’s presence experiencing His love for you, loving, praising, honoring, worshiping, singing to, and adoring Him in return, pray to Him and seek Him, hear and obey Him, serve & glorify Him, & resolve to LOVE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART & TO LOVE OTHERS AS YOURSELF no matter how the world treats you!
We are seeing less and less love in this world right now, but that does not take away our responsibility to obey God’s commands to love Him and to love others. We need to CHOOSE LOVE AND FORGIVENESS regardless of what others do, and God can use us to bring love, hope, and healing to others feeling unloved when we get the focus off ourselves and what we aren’t getting from others and focus on God and His will for us and on giving love to Him and to others! Amen!
Oh, Father, this message brings me delight. I need to hear this message myself, so I thank you for it. I know so many others do also, so I thank you for it. And I’m delighted to be reminded, dear Father, of your endless love available to all those who repent and turn to and live for you, oh Lord, AMEN! And thank you for reminding me and others through this message God of how awesomely amazing it is to spend time in your glorious presence here on this earth in our relationship with you. And that we get to look forward to forever and ever with you – face to face, oh Lord, AMEN!
God’s love is unfathomably wonderfully marvelously magnificently phenomenally awesome, and His love goes on forever! No human love even comes close. If we would know the amazingness and fulness of His love for His children, I believe we wouldn’t allow ourselves to get so discouraged and down and depressed over others’ lack of love toward us but instead would focus on Jesus and rejoice in His breathtakingly beautiful blessedly blissful love for us, oh, hallelujah, AMEN!
“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21 KJV
