Relax and Rejoice!

0

My stomach was feeling a little yucky when all of a sudden I heard a voice speak to my heart. No doubt the Holy Spirit of God.

First I heard one word. “Relax.”

I knew immediately what God meant. I was stressed out because of what I was thinking about. The result was I was clenching my stomach. I relaxed. Huge difference.

But God was not finished.

“And rejoice.” Then He was done.

Again I knew immediately His intention. The meaning of His message.

For the Lord has been teaching me day by day to strive to focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. Not on my life’s circumstances. Not on this world. Not on the things I can get stressed and upset and worried about.

Specifically God has been teaching me how to rejoice no matter what is going on. To rejoice in the Lord. To rejoice in God’s love for me and my love for Him. To rejoice in my forever relationship with Him.

To rejoice in His goodness. To rejoice in His kindness, mercy, grace, tenderness, comfort, joy, peace, hope, wisdom, strength, power, and on and on. To rejoice in His blessings. To rejoice in His ever presence in my life.

To rejoice in fellowshipping with Him. To rejoice through praising and worshiping Him. To rejoice in abiding in Jesus love of my life.

Even as I wrote the last paragraph, my heart rejoiced. I felt a zillion times better than when I focus on the stresses in this life.

Do you also need to hear this message? Relax and rejoice!

Turn your focus to Jesus and REJOICE!

Praise, praise, praise and worship the Lord! Give thanks to God! Celebrate the Lord! Sing to the Lord! Enjoy the Lord! Find joy in the Lord! Forever and ever, AMEN!

Oh, relax and rejoice, HALLELUJAH!
