The TRUTH About LYING!

0

I believe we humans could probably come up with endless excuses for telling lies, but I am compelled by God almighty to tell you THE TRUTH according to God about lying:

* LYING IS SIN AGAINST GOD!

* ALL SIN MUST BE GOTTEN RID OF!

* LYING AND ALL SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD!

* LIARS WILL SPEND FOREVER IN HELL AND THE LAKE OF FIRE!

* THERE IS GOOD NEWS ABOUT LYING!

How do I know this is THE TRUTH? Because God tells us this in the Bible, and the Bible is God’s TRUTH.

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” John 17:17 NKJV

And God tells us in the Bible:

“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”” Revelation 21:8 NKJV

So what is the good news?

God loved the world so much He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to the cross to die to pay our sin punishment and to raise Him from the dead. So all who turn from our sins, believe in Jesus as Lord and in His death and resurrection, and sincerely turn our lives over to the lordship, rule, and reign of Jesus Christ are forgiven, promised a relationship with God here on earth and forever in heaven, and the Holy Spirit comes to live inside us.

The Holy Spirit’s work in us includes but is not limited to leading us, gifting us, empowering us, strengthening us, convicting us, chastening us, leading us to repentance, comforting us, equipping us, speaking to us, helping us, and enabling us to live in obedience to God.

Lying isn’t worth going to hell for!

If you are a liar, please stop lying!

No matter your sins, turn away from sinning and turn, turn, turn to Jesus and to the promise of everlasting life, AMEN!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” John 1:9 NKJV

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 NKJV

“that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.” 1 Peter 4:2 NKJV

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV
