Trusting in God as the Last Resort

0

“Well, there is nothing I can do but trust in the Lord,” I said aloud somewhat miserably.

The situation I faced made it abundantly clear I had no say in the matter. There was nothing I could do. Anything I tried would be to no avail. Some people were doing something whereby I was stuck and unable to move forward. I was discouraged, frustrated, disappointed not to mention worried and deeply upset and stressed out.

At this point I realized I needed to trust in the Lord. But herein lay the issue. God had something to make clear to me. And something I believe I am to share with you.

We should ALWAYS trust in the Lord. We should NOT wait until there are no other options but to trust in Him. We should trust God from the start. Not in the middle of a situation. Not when things are resolved. We should not put our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as a last resort. But we should trust the Lord all the way through.

We should trust God AT ALL TIMES. Every breath, every step, every moment, we should put our trust in Him.

And if you fall as far short in this as I do, you may need reminders along the way. And repentance. For not trusting God is sin against Him. Putting our trust in ourselves, this world, and others instead of in God grieves Him. He is Lord. He is God. He is the one in whom we are to trust this very moment, and the next one, and for every moment forevermore!

Trusting in God should never be our last resort. Trusting the Lord should be what we learn to do continually. Oh, Lord, help us all to trust you all the time! And when we fall short and fail in this, lead us to repentance, dear Father, and help us to put our trust in you going forth, AMEN!

Please, friend, put your trust in the Lord. In all matters. With all situations. With everything in your life. With others. With this life. With your very heart and life. Trust, trust, trust in the Lord, AMEN!

“Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us…” Psalms 62:8 NKJV

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
