Ever been in a relationship with someone you dearly loved who professed to love you exceedingly in return only to discover the person was unfaithful, broke your trust, betrayed you, cheated on you, and ended up in the arms and life of another or maybe even of multiple others?

Heartache and heart-break are words that don’t even come close to describing the depths of hurt and pain for those who have been forsaken like this by loved ones being unfaithful, do they? How must the Lord God almighty feel when so much of this world has its back turned against Him as it runs around from one lover to another? From one false god to another? From one false religion to another? From one ungodly treasure to one ungodly pleasure to another? I can’t even fathom!

But even worse, how must He feel when countless people worldwide who call themselves Christians call Him Lord and yet their hearts and actions and priorities and dreams and aspirations and goals and calendars and plans show forth they are unfaithful to Him as they run around like little lords over their littles lives chasing after lover, lover, and more lovers? Living always if not most or much of the time anyway to satisfy themselves with no regard or little regard anyway to the Lord and His ways and His will for their lives? I can’t even imagine!

Friend, the Lord led me to repent after years of calling Him Lord and not loving, honoring, obeying, revering, living for, and glorifying Him as Lord.

Do you, too, need to repent? Is your life fully surrendered to the Lord, or are you holding back? Are you living for Him according to His ways or for yourself according to the world’s ways?

Good and faithful servants of the Lord are FAITHFUL to the Lord. Oh, let us be! Amen!

Let it not be said of us by the Lord, “…Well hath Esaias [the prophet Isaiah]prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” Mark 7:6

Let it be said of us be the Lord instead that we are His loving and devoted children and His good and faithful servants!
