Dear friend, ………
It’s a warm, beautiful, sunny fall day in New York City, and I have spent most of it indoors so far. Yet another little sacrifice for Jesus as I do a light edit on the new book I just finished writing which God willing should be ready soon for publishing in print and distribution. This is the 365 Blessings book I have been publishing piece by little piece online as part of my GOOD NEWS DAILY I send out by email.
Someone recently told me part of my sacrifice for Christ is physical fatigue, and I readily agree. I have been snatching little naps here and there along with some not-so-good sleep at night, but for the most part I am pressing on with extreme fervor and vigor in the Lord’s work.
I would so LOVE to write my GOOD NEWS DAILY today, but have a strong sense from the Lord I need to take a break to go bathe paralyzed doggy Mr. Simeon in the park with paralyzed Miss Mercy along for the ride followed by more preparation of my new book.
I am so excited beyond measure to now be strongly connected with fellow street preachers in New York City, and I am so incredibly blessed to receive such wonderfully strong love, respect, and support from them as I try to be an encouragement in their lives as well. As some of you know, I have an incredible fire for the Lord and an immeasurable passion for my ministry work, and it’s indescribably refreshing to be around people with the same incredible fire and excitement to share the Gospel message and help people find and follow Jesus.
I have continued to have wonderful opportunities to talk to people about Jesus, and my only real “down time” as far as this is concerned is when I’m indoors writing, caring for my sweet streets ministry doggies, and getting a little bit of rest or eating my yummy chocolate (with a bit of healthy food thrown in there too!).
Please keep praying for me and this ministry doggies included and absolutely those the Lord is reaching through this little ministry of His. Please pray however the Lord leads you!
