Just wanted to share with everyone that of the 16 mostly special needs and senior rescued dogs in Walk by Faith Ministry’s cares, 12-year-old Hope was diagnosed today with major cancer and a very poor prognosis. 15 year old Little Miss Miracles was diagnosed at the same vet visit with cancer as well. And 13-year-old Elijah, who belonged to my beloved friend and sister in Christ who was found dead with a gunshot wound to her chest just months ago was diagnosed several weeks ago with probable cancer.
You might be surprised to know what I did on my drive home from today’s vet visit with these three very special dogs in the back of the car. I praised the Lord. I sang to the Lord. And my heart was filled with the joy of the Lord. Not joy over my circumstances. Not joy at what these dogs are going through. Not joy that I will at some point lose them. But joy because my love and trust are in the Lord. And thanksgiving that He has entrusted me with the work of an evangelist, author, and special needs and senior rescued dogs caretaker whose life mission is to love and serve Him with all my heart and to share the Gospel while ministering the Lord’s love to a world in need – with a passion to help people to become and be devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, Savior of the world!
Will there be challenges and sadness through this all? Undoubtedly. But my heart is filled with the love of the Lord – and a relentless desire to love, adore, honor, worship, and praise Him, and to proclaim Him to a world in dire need of Him.
