When God Brings Us Out

When Moses whom the Lord used to deliver the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt told the people how to celebrate Passover to commemorate the Lord’s deliverance, he made plain and clear THE LORD BROUGHT THE PEOPLE OUT IN HIS STRENGTH. Moses didn’t take the glory for himself. He didn’t give the glory to any of the people. He gave ALL THE GLORY to THE LORD AND CREDITED HIS STRENGTH!

Do we not sometimes after the Lord brings us out of a bad situation, a crisis, a trial or tribulation, a challenge, an unsafe scenario, an addiction, some sort of bondage, etc. take credit ourselves and/or give praise, honor, and glory to others instead of to the Lord? The people were warned over and again to NOT FORGET what the Lord had done for them. What did they do ultimately? Forget!

Friend, let us never forget the Lord and how awesome and amazing He is and give Him the praise, honor, and glory for each and every time He saves, rescues, heals, and delivers us! To the Lord be ALL THE GLORY He deserves!

Lord, thank you, thank you, thank you for all you bring us out of so you can bring us into where you want us to go. Please Father help us to give you ALL THE GLORY and ALL THE PRAISE and not take the HONOR that belongs to YOU! Amen!

“And Moses said to the people: “Remember this day in which you went out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out of this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.” Exodus 13:3
