When God Says GO!

0

Please consider these 6 vitally important words – and how they might apply to your life.

Arise. And. Go. Then. I. Went.

Now please read the following verses from the book of Jeremiah in the Bible before I share with you what the Holy Spirit of God brought to my attention regarding these 6 vital words.

“The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel.” Jeremiah 18:1-3

When God told the prophet Jeremiah to arise and go, he went. In other words, when God sent him to where He wanted him to go to do what He wanted him to do, Jeremiah obeyed. He arose to go. Then he went.

Everlasting life with God instead of hell and the lake of fire in forever torment is for those who humble ourselves, turn from our sins, believe Jesus Christ is Lord and in His death and resurrection, turn to God and His ways, and receive His forgiveness and forever life with Him. God saves us by His grace through our faith in Jesus to be with Him forever. This is NOT merely an intellectual faith. This is a faith that results in the fruit of a life of obedience to Christ.

God makes clear His will for us in different ways whether right out of the pages of the Bible, by His Holy Spirit who lives inside His followers speaking to our hearts in line with the Bible, through His followers speaking to us in line with the Bible, through dreams and visions He confirms are from Him, by giving us a strong leading by His Holy Spirit, and in any other manner He so chooses.

We who will spend forever with Jesus need to SEEK, HEAR, and OBEY God. When He tells us to ARISE AND GO, we should be able to say, “Then I went.” Where? Wherever God sends us. To whatever God sends us. To whomever God sends us. To do what? To do whatever God sends us to do. For whom? For Him. For others. Why? To love, serve, and glorify God.

Go where God sends you, friend, according to His will, in His timing, in His strength, with His provision, in the power of His Holy Spirit, in obedience to Him, for His glory, with love, humility, joy, and thanksgiving in your heart!

You who have been holding back from going where you are clear through prayer, through reading the Bible, and through seeking godly counsel as the Lord leads you from God’s followers who are filled with and led by God’s Holy Spirit and solidly grounded in the Bible, ARISE AND GO in obedience to God.

When God in whatever way He chooses calls us to ARISE AND GO, may it be said of each and every one of us that we surrendered ourselves to God almighty – and WENT. In loving obedience to Jesus! Amen!
