When You Are About to Quit

0

Ever felt on the verge of quitting something? And pretty much convinced there is no way you can make it more than a step or two further if even that? Ever felt like you are just at the end of your rope with something or even with someone and your relationship with that person? I have been there a zillion times and am actually in that place even as I write this. And I feel strongly led to encourage you with this.

Seek God. Pray to God. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ cry out to God to give you wisdom about whether or not it is His will for you to quit or continue. Keep praying. Don’t stop praying and seeking Him until you are clear you know His will. When you believe you have heard from God, make sure what you have heard lines up with the Bible since God will never tell us to do anything that goes against the Bible. And ask some followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who have a strong relationship with God to pray for you and help you make sure you have heard from Him.

Then what? If God tells you not to quit, DO NOT QUIT! Jesus will give you absolutely all you need love, strength, wisdom, comfort, care, provision, wisdom, rest, and mercy included to help you fulfill His will for you. If God does not want you to quit, He will enable you to persevere!

If you are clear the Lord wants you to endure, pray to Him, hold onto Him, hold onto the Bible, reach out for support from His followers, and PRESS ON IN THE WILL OF GOD IN THE STRENGTH OF GOD FOR THE GLORY OF GOD! Amen!

Some verses to encourage you:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 NKJV

“as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,” 2 Peter 1:3 NKJV

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 NKJV
