We as humans experience fear, and we should not condemn ourselves for feeling it at times. The Lord wouldn’t tell us hundreds of times in the Bible not to fear if we all had perfect faith in Him and never fell into fear. I believe He tells us not to fear because He knows we will have it at times and to instruct us not to stay in fear when we find ourselves there.
Fear can be dangerous, friend. Wen? When we choose to stay in it instead of turning away from it and when we make decisions and take actions in response to our fear. What do we need to do instead? Turn to the Lord and the Bible and put our trust in Him and His Word and His will for us. We need to choose faith over fear and make faith-based decisions and take faith-based actions. We need to live led by the Lord not led by fear.
We should base our decisions and actions on the Lord, the Bible, and His will and leading for us! When you find yourself in fear, turn to Jesus and the Bible and let His Spirit who lives inside His followers lead you forth.
Go forth by faith! Let us live by faith not fear! May the Lord lead the way, and may we faithfully, lovingly, humbly, reverently, and obediently follow the Lord – not fear!
Father, I am so prone to fear and worry and doubt as you know! Many others struggle as I do! Please, dear Lord, help us to have victory over fear, to crush fear under our feet, not to respond to it, and instead to seek you, Father, to hear you, and in your strength to courageously follow you. Help us not to follow fear! Help us to follow you! Amen!
