Contagious Thanksgiving

0

Usually when I hear or think about the word “contagious”, it’s in the context of sickness. The flu is contagious. That cold is contagious. Is that virus contagious? But the word contagious doesn’t have to be associated only with illness! When I think of contagious, I think of something spreading. There is nothing more important in the universe when it comes to spreading than that we who are Jesus’ followers should be spreading God’s love, spreading the Gospel message, spreading God’s provision He gives us to give unto others, spreading encouragement and support and kindness and goodness and generosity and mercy and grace, spreading help with understanding and living by the Bible, etc. And most assuredly we should be spreading THANKSGIVING for and to God!

When we express Thanksgiving to God in the presence of others, I believe we are sharing the love, hope, light, joy, and Truth of the Lord! And I believe we are spreading how humbling and exciting it is to PRAISE THE LORD! When I’m talking to people who love the Lord and tell me how thankful they are to Him, this to me is contagious. Thanksgiving to the Lord can and should be contagious, don’t you think? Please help spread the love of Jesus and the Gospel message – and THANKSGIVING TO THE LORD! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, oh Lord! Let this very message be contagious!

“And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.” Psalms 40:3 KJV
