Feeling Like You Won’t Make It

0

When you feel like you won’t make it, like you just can’t take it anymore, like the mountain in front of you is just too big, like your struggle is too unbearable, like you can’t find hope no matter how hard you try, like things will never get better, like you’re just way too overwhelmed, etc., there are FOUR WORDS that will lead you to HOPE unimaginable.

CRY OUT TO GOD!

Oh, sure, you can go the world and its endless resources to try to help you make it concerning whatever you are facing. And to feel better. To try to get by. To try to move forward. You can go to counselors, recovery groups, medications, get help and support, go to friends, make geographical changes, make life changes, get a different job, to pursue a new calling or a new relationship. Yes, you can try and try to find in the world a way to make you feel like you’re going to make it. And not to just feel like you will make it. But to make it. And YOU SHOULD GO TO AND USE RESOURCES IN THIS WORLD IF AND WHEN IT IS THE WILL OF GOD AND ACCORDING TO HIS WILL.

But the starting place, and the most important thing you can do all the way through, is to CRY OUT TO GOD. Pray your heart out! Pour your heart out to God! Read the Bible and live by it Spend time alone with God regularly! Praise and worship God! Seek God! Hear God! Obey God! Commune with God! Fellowship with God! Look to God! Rejoice in God! Put your trust in God! Believe in God! Put your hope in God! Put your expectation in God! Oh, cry out to God! Pray, pray, and keep praying!

The devil, this world, and our flesh and feelings may tell us we’re not going to make it. But all things are possible with God! We can do all things through the Lord Jesus Christ!

Oh, cry out to God! AMEN!

“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”” Mark 9:23 NKJV

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 NKJV

““Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings…” Psalms 61:1-4 NKJV
