How utterly amazing and humbling to work from home when I’m not out on the streets and the beach in my evangelism work sitting with my laptop on my lap surrounded by two paralyzed dogs, a severely disabled super senior dog, a multiple-miracles senior dog, and a dog without eyes. How many people get to work in an office with such an array of co-workers. Admittedly, the dogs are more of a distraction than a help, but they most assuredly offer endless inspiration.
So why is this humbling? Not because of the dogs, but because of the Lord. He took an utterly broken woman who was utterly useless for decades and planted in my heart and hands a ministry through which I am privileged to act as an evangelist, author, and mommie to 17 mostly special needs and senior rescued dogs. Now if that’s not mightily humbling, I don’t know what is.
