Shut your ears to the devil! Open your ears to the Lord! You can listen to the devil, or you can turn to the Lord God almighty and listen to Him.
Open up the Bible and read it. Study it. Live it. Love it. Keep reading it. Be diligent in spending time alone with Jesus day by day.
Stop listening to the devil’s lies. Listen to God’s truth. His Spirit who lives inside His followers will speak to our hearts personally always and only in line with the Bible.
Know the Bible so you know God and you know His voice and His truth. Anything you hear that does not line up with the Bible is not from God almighty.
When you know the devil is speaking, turn away. To Jesus.
Find peace in Him. Find love in Him. Find rest in Him. Find hope in Him. Find encouragement in Him. Find fellowship in Him. Find the way to live in Him. Open your ears to the Lord. Open your eyes to His Word. Open your heart to God almighty and His will for your life!
The voice to follow is the voice of Christ, friend. Follow His voice. Follow Him. This moment. Today. Tomorrow. Forever. Faithfully. Devotedly. Humbly. Honoring Him. His voice is so beautiful. So powerful. The voice of the Great Shepherd is the one to listen to. The one to obey. His voice His sheep hear.
Father God, speak to the hearts of your children. Speak to us personally. Speak to us through your Word as of course you do. But please don’t stop there. Help us to hear you speak to each of us individually. Help us to know and recognize and discern and follow your voice. Thank you for your love for your sheep, Good Shepherd. Thank you for your magnificent voice. Thank you, oh Lord, AMEN!
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” John 10:27-28
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:1-4
