Triumphs Amid Tribulations

0

I have had countless trials and tribulations in my life, but I praise the Lord I have learned that we can have triumph after triumph even in the midst of them!

Triumphing DOES NOT mean we won’t have tribulations, that our struggles will end right away, or even end at all, that life will go our way, that our challenges will ease up, etc.

Triumphing amid tribulations is NOT contingent and conditional on our tribulations at all! Being victorious as we go through our trials and tribulations is contingent on the Lord Jesus Christ!

Friend, right in the midst of our hard places, right when we can barely see past our tribulations if we can see past them at all, we can triumph!

Examples? We can start an everlasting relationship with God! We can return to God! We can grow much stronger in our faith in God! We can become more like the Lord Jesus Christ! We can grow in our relationship with Jesus! We can enjoy amazingly sweet and fulfilling fellowship alone with Jesus! We can learn more about the Bible and learn more how to live by it! We can be purified, cleansed, and refined!

We can learn to not sin in response to the hardness of our tribulations but to turn to Jesus instead as well as to reach out to His followers for love, encouragement, prayer, help, and support!

We can experience joy FROM, IN, and THROUGH the Lord! We can draw closer and closer to the Lord! We can become much more sensitive, compassionate, and loving toward others going through their own tribulations!

And on and on the triumphs through Jesus go!

Tribulations can be so indescribably hard! But when we surrender ourselves humbly and wholly to Jesus as we go through them, we can experience victory after victory, triumph after triumph. Glory be to the Lord, AMEN!

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”” John 16:33 NKJV

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4 NKJV

“And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5 NKJV
