When God makes clear through the Bible or by His Holy Spirit speaking to your heart personally in line with the Bible or through His followers speaking in line with the Bible or in any way He so chooses that He wants you to walk away from something or someone, WALK AWAY.
You can resist, debate, argue, delay, rebel, etc., but this is all SIN against God almighty. When He makes clear His will and His timing to walk away, WALK AWAY.
I was right in the middle of doing something when I felt so strongly led to write this message. I have such a strong sense many, many people need to read this.
God’s greatest command is to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. The Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, God who came in the flesh, who died on the cross to pay our sin penalty and was raised from the dead, tells us in the Bible those who love Him are to obey Him.
When you believe you have heard from God, measure what you hear against the Bible because God only speaks in line with the Bible. And you can reach out to His followers to help you ensure you are hearing from God. It is wise and so important to know you have clearly heard from Him.
If you have no doubt the Lord God almighty has told you to walk away from something or someone, whatever or whomever it may be, humble yourself before the Lord, pray to God for all you need to obey Him, and OBEY THE LORD! WALK AWAY!
“Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘HEAR, O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE. AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ This is the first commandment.” Mark 12:29-30 NKJV
